Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Latest News: Extension fo deadline for the application of post graduate scholarships and disbursement of loans.

 

HELB News Update on 13th January 20017

 

  • Helb has extended the application for postgraduate scholarship to 31st January 2017. The initial deadline was December 2016.  Application process available here
  • HELB has disbursed loans for some students and they should reflect on their accounts soon
  • HELB is currently working on appeals and will notify successful applicants once it is done.

    Hello… am Peter Mboya a student from egerton university and my concerned is that may helb loan for first semester is not reflecting in the students finance office and also in my helb portal it is indicated that the loan as not been payed . Please may i know the problem am stranded since i have not yet clear my fee to enable register with academic affairs.
    Secondly may i take this opportunity to ask for the helb bursary am facing a lot of problems since the same a mount am getting from helb is what am using to pay part of my school fee and part of it am using for my upkeep please may you assist with the bursary to cater for part of my school fees my registration number is A13/02106/18. Thank you.
