Solving error 69 when sending text messages on Safaricom

I am not able to send text messages at all on Safaricom network. Every time I try to send, I get error 69 message

If you are getting error 69 message and you are using Safaricom Simcard then try putting the simscard in another phone to find out whether it is a problem to do with your Sim Card or phone.

Let us know whether you got the same error after inserting the simcard in another phone.

If you were able to send text messages in another phone without error 69, then  try adjusting settings below:

• Go to messages
• Settings
• SMS  center number
• Ensure it is +254722500029
