Kenya Universities Students Organization (KUSO) has defended Brian Mwenda Njagi (real name Mike Ross) who was found appearing in court as a lawyer without meeting the required qualifications.
In a statement published on social media, KUSO says that Brian Mwenda Njagi raised the bar high for the law profession by managing to represent his clients in court without attending any law class.
Brian Mwenda is a second-year Criminology student at Chuka University who has found providing legal representation to clients without being trained or licensed by the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) to practice as a lawyer.
Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko has also promised to pay for Brian’s education.
Brian is currently being investigated by DCI for impersonation.
