KUCCPS has today announced that it has released placement results for KCSE candidates who did their course application this year.
How to check placement results
According to KUCCPS, 2022, all students who did revision or made applications for government-sponsored University, College, or TVET courses can check their placement results via SMS by following the procedure published on this page.
The placement process was based on the candidate’s choice of school, merit, and available spaces in the selected school.
If you know the university and course that you have placed, the next step is to wait for an admission letter from the University in which you were placed.
KCSE 2022 candidates who applied for placement and have not been placed to any course can log in to the KUCCPS portal and apply again.
It’s important to note that there have been changes in the funding structure for students placed by KUCCPS. Unlike previous years, where the government directly funded KUCCPS placed students pursuing degree, diploma, and certificate courses in various higher institutions of learning, each student is now required to individually apply for government scholarships and loans. This means that candidates will need to apply for government scholarships and loans.
KUCCPS has also this year not published any statistics on the number of students placed to each University as it did in previous years.
