KIAMIS Registration Procedure

KIAMIS registration procedure for farmers and enumerators

The Ministry of Agriculture, livestock, and Fisheries has launched the KIAMIS system to help register, track, and manage farmers online.

KIAMIS

Kenya Integrated Agricultural Management Information System (KIAMIS) is an online platform that is used to register farmers online in Kenya.

Farmers can use the KIAMIS web app to determine which plants they can grow in their area. This is based on information from scientific studies done by the government and partners.

The national government will use the KIAMIS platform in the identification of farmers and distribution of fertilizer subsidies.

The national government also intends to use the data gathered in KIAMIS in determining the financial resources that farmers in particular areas require.

KIAMIS Registration Procedure

You can register for KIAMIS portal as a farmer through local enumerators by following the procedure below;

  • Visit your area sub-county or county offices
  • You will find KIAMIS enumerators
  • Provide your details (location, personal information, and farming details)
  • You will receive an SMS message confirming your registration

The KIAMIS registration exercise is currently not available in all counties. The Ministry of Agriculture is in the process of recruiting and training enumerators to assist in the registration exercise.   Soon, they will be a website for online registration.
