KASNEB examinations to be done on a computer-based platform

KASNEB computer-based examination, CBE

KASNEB has announced that starting from the August 2023 exams, the ATD (Accounting Technicians Diploma) level 1 examination will be conducted on a computer-based platform. The shift from fully paper exams to a mixture of paper and computer-based examinations is in line with the new KASNEB Syllabus.

To assist ATD level 1 candidates in adapting to this new exam format, KASNEB will be offering a free virtual training session on how to sit for computer-based examinations. The training will be available to all candidates, and they can expect to receive a message containing instructions on how to attend the training by July 10.

ATD level 1 candidates and those sitting for CAMS (Certified Accounting and Management Skills), DDMA (Diploma in Data Management and Analytics), DCNSA (Diploma in Computerized Network Systems Administration), CISSE (Certified Information Systems Security Expert), and CFFE (Certified Forensic and Fraud Examiner) are required to book their examinations in order to participate in the computer-based examination (CBE) training.

Every KASNEB student sitting for CBE exams will be required to have a laptop. While there are no specific laptop requirements mentioned, it is recommended to have a laptop with an Intel Core i3 Processor or above.
