The iPhone X (or iPhone 10) is Apple’s latest and most advanced smartphone yet. Keeping up with the tradition of dropping features in subsequent releases, Apple dropped the fingerprint sensor. However, that does not mean the iPhone X is any less secure; it has 3D face scanning.

OS and Processors
The iPhone X runs on iOS 11.1, powered by a Hexa-core (2x Monsoon + 4x Mistral) 64-bit CPU based on the Apple A11 Bionic chipset. Graphics are powered by an Apple GPU (three-core graphics).
Memory and Storage
The phone has a RAM of 3GB and 64 or 256GB internal storage. Storage is not expandable via memory card as the iPhone X lacks a dedicated microSD slot.
Display
The iPhone X boasts of a 5.8” Super AMOLED touch screen with a resolution of 1125×2436 pixels and 445ppi density. The bezel-less display is protected by the tough Gorilla Glass 5.
Other features of the display include: scratch-resistance, Dolby Vision/HDR10 compliant, wide colour gamut, 3D Touch and True-tone.
Camera
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus’s front camera is 7MP with face detection, HDR and panorama. It can record 1080p videos at 30fps and 720p at 40fps.
The secondary dual camera is 12MP with face detection, autofocus, OIS, and quad-LED (dual-tone) flash. It is capable of recording 2160p videos at 24/30/60fps, 1080p at 30/60/120/240fps.
The rear camera is also capable of shooting slow motion videos at 1080p at 240fps.
Connectivity
Communication to other devices is possible via Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, hotspot. Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE. GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS. NFC (Apple Pay only). USB 2.0, proprietary reversible connector.
Network connectivity is via GSM, HSPA, or LTE.
Battery
The iPhone X is powered by a 2716mAh battery. Users will however get comparatively more juice given Apple has implemented some technological features to ensure efficient battery use.
The battery supports up to 21 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 60 hours of music playback.
