Over 50 people are feared dead in Morogoro, Tanzania after a fuel tanker exploded on Saturday 10th August 2019 (Today).

Morogoro Fuel Accident

The victims, who a large number of them were motorcyclists and food vendors had rushed to the scene to collect fuel after the lorry overturned and started leaking in Mzambarauni, Morogoro, Tanzania.

The cause of the explosion is yet to be established.

Wilbroad Mutafungwa, the Morogoro police commander has confirmed to the media that 57 people have died (as at writing this article).
