More than 2,500 university and college students from Kitutu Chache South Constituency are set to receive their bursaries after being awarded by the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF). This is according to Kitutu Chache South MP Hon. Richard Momaima Onyonka who said the bursary cheques are ready for disbursement.
Those students who applied for the bursaries have been requested to check if they have been short listed .
CDF Amount Award
This year more than 2,500 students will receive sh 10,000 each.
The MP said that his aim is to ensure that all students in Kitutu chache South Constituency go to school regardless of their financial backgrounds
The MP has also promised to increase the allocation for students from needy families with special cases.
Construction of Kenya Medical Training College
Hon Momaima Onyonka also confirmed that the National Government has set aside funds for the construction of the new Kenya Medical Training College at Matieko , Bogusero ward. “The National Government has put measures of constructing a new medical training college at Matieko Complex , Bogusero ward to help students get trained as medics in the constituency and that is a benefit to our students and the area residents.”

Richard Onyonka has expressed his ambition to contest for the post of Kisii County Governor come 2022. Although he has not publicly launched his bid, all intentions are clear for everyone to see.
