Titus Kisangau is a Communication and Public Relations graduate from Moi University (Main Campus)

Early Leadership

While at the Utumishi Academy between years 2005-2008 ,  he was one of the longest serving student leaders having served in the Christian Union for three consecutive terms; starting off as  Vice chair and later as C.U Chairperson. At the same time served as Environmental prefect, Assistant Captain in the Human Resource Department and latter promoted to become Deputy School Captain. He remained outstanding in her service to the school community and this earned him the prestigious Commissioner’s Award of Young Peace Ambassador 2008 by the Commissioner of Police –Kenya. He is also an award winner on the Role of Youth in combating Crime by the Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission.

University Leadership

At Moi University enthusiastic Titus Kisangau became the Organizing secretary of Communications Student Association of Moi University (COSAMU) and Secretary General Kitui County Students Association. And pioneer Chairperson of East Africa Youth PARLIAMENT –Moi Chapter.

Leadership and Governance call saw Titus Kisangau together with like minded young people pioneer founding of East Africa Youth Parliament- Kenya chapter under resolutions of East Africa Youth Summit 2007. He went further to pioneer University Chapters at Moi University in the year 2011. He has served at various organizations with a bias to Leadership, Governance, Human rights and Democracy. Titus has widely participated in critical national policy processes in Kenya including; Kenya National Youth Policy through National Youth Convention. He was actively involved in the Youth for Peace campaigns in from 2012 under the platform of “Kura Kwa Amani” (Elections with Peace) being North Rift Regional Coordinator.

He is a Youth Worker who has excellently served on the Global Peace Youth Corps University steering committee to establish global movement that is based on Transformational Innovative Moral Leadership. He has participated in Youth Leaders forum with Africa Youth Leaders Forum in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. Where, interest has been developing leadership skills for better participation in the country’s governance and positive contribution.

Due to his outstanding leadership in the University, Titus was nominated to represent Moi University at Ugandan Parliament National Prayer Breakfast in Africa Youth Leaders Forum where all East Africa’s University Student Leaders participated to promote transformational leadership among youth. He also championed Moi University Students to participate in the Inter- University Social Media Challenge on the place of youth in the East African Integration Process.

All these have been achieved through the platform of East Africa Youth Parliament – an organization aimed at mentoring leaders to bring out the best in them and to sharpen them as change agents, for the eventual transformation of Kenya and Africa at large.
