Student in MKU woke up to the sad news of the killing of their loved one. The Mount Kenya University student is said to have been found stabbed to death by individuals who are suspected to be residing around Kiandutu area (subject to confirmation). This comes barely two weeks after moi university students staged a demonstration over the raping and stabbing to death of their fellow.

Attempts to reach the Mkusa chair to comment over the same issue have failed . We have however been informed that one patrol police vehicle had earlier been provided to guard the area but there have been complains from students over the effectiveness of the police.
