Oppo A83: Features, Specifications and Price in Kenya (To be launched)

Following last year’s highly popularised launch of the Oppo F5, the Chinese company is set to launch another affordable midrange smartphone in the Kenyan market: Oppo A83

The Oppo A83 that will launch in Kenya before the end of the month.

An A.I. camera and an HD+ display are some of the features the Oppo A83 boasts of.

Display

The Oppo A83 has an IPC LCD 5.7-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels.

OS and Processors

The device runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) layered with Oppo’s ColorOS 3.2.

It is powered by a Cortex-A53 2.5GHz Octa-core processor based on the MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23chipset.

Graphics are powered by a Mali-T720 MP2 GPU.

Oppo A83 RAM and Storage

The A83 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Storage is expandable via microSD of up to 256GB.

Oppo A83 Camera

The A83’s A.I. powered camera has 13MP and is capable of recording 720p video at 30fps.

The secondary camera is 8MP.

Network and Connectivity

The A83 supports GSM, HSPA and LTE network standards.

Connectivity is via Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n. GPS. Bluetooth 4.20. USB OTG

Battery

The device is powered by a 3180mAh Li-Ion battery.
