Statement from University of Nairobi Vice Chancellor Prof. Peter Mbithi on Re-opening Dates
University of Nairobi Vice chancellor prof. Peter Mbithi has denied re-opening dates being circulated on social media. His statement read;
“This is to inform all students and staff as well as the general public that the University of Nairobi remains closed.
The information about re-opening in circulation on social media is false and malicious. The students under suspension will appear before disciplinary committees from 19th to 21st April,2016.”
University of Nairobi was closed after a number of students went on riot protesting the results of 2016 SONU election where Babu Owino wad declared winner of the Chair docket.
