William’s Ruto’s visit to Maria Immaculata Education Centre

The deputy president is expected to visit Maria Immaculata Education Centre on Saturday 14th September 2019.

The school’s statement read;

Through the providence of God, the Deputy president has promised to visit our school on 14/09/2019. Through the school Advisory Board, we kindly request you to be part and parcel of this occasion. Therefore we are requesting each parent to contribute an addition amount of Ksh. 3,000 to welcome the visitor. You are most welcome that day.”

It is not clear what the event is all about but parents are more concerned about the 3,000 they are required to pay. Expressing their disappointment on social media, some parents argue that the deputy president’s visit should be funded by the state not them.
