Nurses Strike Not Yet Over: Shortly after calling off their strike after signing return to work agreement with council of governors and Ministry of Health  Cabinet Secretary Doctor Mailu, the Nurses are back again to the streets over CBA row.

While addressing the press Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) secretary-general  Seth Panyako indicated that the government through the ministry of health had violated an agreement that they had earlier signed.

 

 
Seth Panyako ” We are giving the government upto Wednesday to fulfill an agreement we had signed failure to which we will go on strike” The union official indicated that they will not listen to the government pleas again if they resume for the second strike until the CBA is fully implemented.

 

 
The Nurses in December 2016 called off their strike after signing a return to work formula with the two governments.
