Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) on Thursday 16th July 2015 morning released placement statistics after the completion of the final revision exercise. A total of (79,313) of the (483,630) 2014 KCSE candidates have been selected to join public universities and middle level colleges in the September 2015 intake.
The number of candidates selected to join public universities rose from 57,250 in 2014 to 67,790 in 2015. Kenyatta university will admit 5,942 which is the highest number of the total 67,790 students selected to join public universities.
Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) will admit 4,860
316 candidates have been selected to pursue medicine courses. The 316 candidates have been distributed to different universities offering medicine courses in Kenya as listed below.

- Kenyatta University (50)
- Moi University (43)
- Egerton University (33)
- Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and technology (30)
- Maseno University (40)
