If I apply for a certificate can I be placed for diploma if qualified?

No, you cannot. If you apply for a certificate course, you will be placed for a certificate course and if you apply for a diploma course you will be placed for a diploma course.

If you qualify to apply for a diploma course then don't waster that opportunity of applying.
