What are the requirements of being a TSC Teacher?

I want to become TSC registered teacher. What are requirements of registration?

To be registered as a TSC teacher you have to meet the following academic qualifications.

Certificate

  • Mean grade of D+ and ECDE Certificate or
  • Mean grade of D (plain), KNEC proficiency certificate and KNEC ECDE Certificate

PTE

  • Mean grade of C (plain) and PTE Certificate or
  • Mean grade of C- (for the blind and deaf)

Diploma in Education

  • Mean Grade of C+ and graduation certificate

Bachelor of Education  (degree)

  • Mean grade C+ and graduation certificate

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science

  • Mean Grade of C+ and post graduate in diploma in Education (PGDE)
