M-shares is a Standard Bank Group (SBG) securities platform where people can trade using their mobile phones.

Traders can use M-shares for the following functions

  • Buy and sell shares
  • Fund trading accounts
  • Receive payment
  • Get marker updates

How to register for M-shares

  • Dial *209#
  • Enter your CDS account (if you do not have a CDS trading account with SBG Securities, you must open one to in order to use M-Shares)
