Primary and secondary schools, KCPE and KCSE 2020 Candidates have until 6th March 2020 to verify their registration details and data.
Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mercy Karogo, said all candidates, with the guidance of the subject teachers, are required to verify the registration details per subject and confirm correct subject entries by signing against their names.
Deadline
The schools have been given up to the 6th of March, 2020, to ensure that their data is correctly captured. KCPE and KCSE examinations deadline for registration was on 15th February 2020. Subject nominal roll in the registration portal has been introduced by the Kenya National Examination Council whereby each school is required to download and print the nominal roll per subject.
With the guidance of the subject teachers, candidates are required to verify the registration details per subject. They are then supposed to confirm correct subject entries by signing against their names.
Heads of institutions have been urged to ensure that the verification process is carried out properly and correctly and that all candidates sign the nominal roll themselves. Subject teachers and the heads of the institutions are required to endorse the subject nominal rolls.
The following areas are Key during the verification process:
- Subject entries and Clusters;
- Candidate’s name, Year of birth and Gender;
- Category of Candidates with Special Needs (Visually Impaired, Deaf, Blind and Physically challenged)
- Citizenship;
- Repeaters;
- Photographs;
- Duplication-of candidates.
Timeline
Downloading, Printing and Verification of Nominal rolls is between 24th February to 6th March 2020.
Return of Nominal rolls to Sub County Director of Education office is between 16th March to 20th March 2020
