KNEC KCSE 2018 Results Release Date by Amina Mohamed (When to check)

What follows is an update on the dates when KCSE 2018 results will be released by KNEC and ministry of education CS Amina Mohamed.

 KCSE 2018 Summary Information

KCSE 2018 Examinations started on Monday 5th November 2018 and ended on November 28th 2018.

There were 663,820 registered candidates who did the exams out of which 323,113 were girls and 340,707  were boys.

There were minimal cases of cheating in the KCSE 2018 exams as compared to 2017.

When will KCSE 2018 Results be released?

The exact date as to when KCSE 2018 Exams Results will be released by education CS Amina Mohamed is Friday 21st December 2018 at
Mitihani House.

Checking KCSE 2018 Results via sms code

Once KCSE 2018 exams have been released candidates can check their results by sending their Index Number to sms Code 20076 for Safaricom, Airtel and Telkom.  You can also visit you secondary school a day later to get them

How to get KCSE 2018 Results online

Candidates can as well confirm their results using the KNEC portal by following the procedure below;

• Go to: https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke
• Then Click on the 2018 Results Slip tab
• Download your results slip

NOTE: checking results via KNEC portal is not ideal because it has delays. Results are updated months after release
