The African youth awards was Launched in 2014. Categories of awards include; Young Male Personality, Young Female Personality, Tertiary Institution of the Year, Students Association of the Year, Public Servant of the Year, Excellence in Leadership Award, Excellence in Governance Award, TV Show of the Year, Media Excellence Award, Literary Arts, Film Maker of the Year, Fashion Icon of the Year, Sports Personality of the Year, Sports team of the Year, NGO of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Conference/Summit/Forum of the Year, Special Award, Grassroot Transformation In Africa and Advocacy
