Pope Francis Holy Mass at the University of Nairobi: Papal Altar at the UoN grounds: Message from University of Nairobi about Pope Francis Holy Mass;
The construction of the Papal Altar at the UoN grounds is almost complete. Over 1 million Catholic faithfuls are expected to attend the Mass that will be presided over by the Pope.

The Pope will be in the country from November 25th to 27th, 2015. Pope Francis is scheduled to make a historic visit to Africa and Kenya will be the first African country to host His Holiness since he became Pope in 2013.

His Holiness Pope Francis will arrive in the country on Wednesday November 25, 2015 and pay a courtesy call and hold talks with the President of the Republic of Kenya.

The three-day papal visit is a milestone and a blessing for Kenya, having had the privilege of hosting a Pope on three previous occasions. Pope John Paul II visited Kenya in 1980, 1985 and 1995.
