Mount Kenya University has been asked to submit a list of 66 students that will attend The Speech by US President Barack Obama on 26th July 2015. The dean of students MKU will pick the students from the various campuses amongst them students’ leaders, department representatives, religious leaders and high academic achievers.
This is the highest number of invited students so far from a single university that will attend Obama’s public speech in Kenya. On the other hand, Chuka university will be represented by 28 students.
It has however, not be disclosed as to how many students will attend Barack Obama’s public address from the University of Nairobi.
All the students that have been invited to attend the public speech have been asked not to carry small cameras.
Barack Obama’s public rally will take place on Sunday 26th July 2015.
