Intelligence brief reports indicate that Mohamed Kuno Gamdheere who was the mastermind behind the Garissa university attack that saw over 147 students lose their lives  has been killed  in US drone attack.

 

Mohamed Kuno Gamdheere is among other 4 terror leaders that were killed by US drone attack in Juungal area, Somalia somalia last night. He was among  the list of the most wanted criminals by the Kenya government.
The Kenya government had placed a ksh20 million bounty on the head of Mohamed Kuno Gamdheere  for leading Garissa University College attack.

 

Mohamed Kuno Gamdheere was also reported to be responsible  for the 22nd November Mandera bus massacre which saw 28  people killed.
He is a Kenyan-Somali who joined Union of Islamic Courts (UIC). After the collapse of UIC he joined militant group Hizbul Islam that merged with Alshabaab.

However, conflicting information reaching us indicate that Mohamed Kuno Gamdheere might not be among those killed.  More details and forensic confirmation about this coming shortly….
