The Kenya National Library Service (KNLS) has today launched Vtabu, a Virtual Library that will make it possible for users to access unlimited books online from the comfort of their homes.

The Vtabu virtual library boasts an extensive collection of 4,000 educational resources, including audiobooks, videos, eBooks, and pictures. While some of the books are available for free, others require a membership.

Book membership plans start at Ksh. 20 per day, Ksh. 100 per week, Ksh. 500 per month, or Ksh. 2500 per year. Payments can be made using Mpesa or Card.

How to use Vtabu Virtual Library website

To access the Vtabu Online Library, visit its website at https://vtabu.knls.ac.ke.
To get started, register by providing your names, email address, ID or passport number, and phone number. Once you have registered, you have the option to browse books based on subjects or utilize the search function to find specific book titles you wish to read or listen to.

Note: To read a Vtabu eBook, you need to use a browser that supports opening of pdf files. If you are encountering problems opening an eBook, then be informed that it is not possible to open a pdf file in most mobile browsers.
