SONU elections 2016: Dissolution, Campaigns, Voting and Results

University of Nairobi Student organization SONU under the reign of Babu Owino will be dissolved on the 1^st of March 2016. Babu Owino is also contesting for another term for  SONU chair. Find Below a comprehensive timeline of events.

SONU 2016 elections timeline

• Dissolution of SONU-1^ST March 2016
• Announcement and Publication of successfully nominated candidates- Monday, 21st March, 2016
• Official SONU Campaigns-24^th March (for 7days)
• SONU elections day 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m-Counting, tallying and announcement of results-Friday, 1st April, 2016
• Announcing 2016 SONU results-1^st-2^nd April 2016
• Swearing of Elected student leaders-2^nd April 2016

The SONU chair battle was between Mike Jacobs and Babu Owino.
