Where to get KNEC KCSE Result slip

You can collect you KCSE Result slip or leaving certificate from the secondary school where you did you KCSE Exams. That is the best option. If that does not apply to you, continue reading.

Can I download KCSE Result Slip from KNEC Portal?

The answer is NO. There is no way you can download KCSE Result slip from KNEC Registration portal. All the articles you might have read online that you can download your result slip from KNEC portal are a lie. Only KCPE result slips can be downloaded from the KNEC portal.

For KCSE, only complete school results are available at the KNEC Portal

Can KNEC Replace Lost Results slips or Issue one?

NO, KNEC does not replace lost results slips. KNEC only replaces Lost KCSE certificates not results slips.

Where to get KCSE Result Slip for University admission or application

If you lost your KCSE results slip or have a fee balance and the high school where you studied has denied you the results slip then the only option you have is to ask KNEC to send confirmation of your result to the institution of study. This is how it works;

  1. Visit KNEC’s New Mitihani House, South C offices, Mombasa Road (If you visit any other KNEC offices, you won’t get help). Direction to the New Mitihani House is provided below.
  2. Ask them to send KCSE confirmation of results form to the institution that is asking the result slip (For Instance your University of Admission)
  3. KNEC will ask you to pay some fee for the same
  4. They will then send the results to the institution that needs the result slip to confirm your KCSE results
  5. It takes about a 7 days for the results to be sent to the institution

NOTE: You won’t be issued with the results. They will only be send to the  institution that needs them

Direction to KNEC South C offices (New Mitihani House)

The the New Mitihani House, is located behind National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) offices in South C. You can board a bus or matatu at the Bus Station, Matatu number 12 (KPA) going to South “C” and alight after College of Insurance and the Kenya Reinsurance Corporation apartments.
