Bomet County Jubilee party primaries, Monday 24th April 2017: The Jubilee party nominations went down in Bomet County on Monday. The Most hotly contested seat in the Nairobi primaries was that of Governor position. The candidates to beat in this position were KONES JULIUS KIPYEGON and ABONYO JOYCE CHERONO LABOSO.
Constituencies in Bomet include; Bomet Central Constituency, Bomet East Constituency, Chepalungu Constituency, Sotik Constituency and Konoin Constituency.
Bomet is a jubilee stronghold according to the 2013 presidential general elections where Uhuru Kenyatta garnered more votes than Raila Odinga.
