Who is the founder and owner of Jumia ecommerce?

Jumia is owned by Jumia Technologies AG (parent company). It was founded by Sacha Poignonnec and Jeremy Hodara in 2012. The two act as co-chief executive officers of the company.

Jumia Technologies AG is registered in Berlin, Germany.

Jumia is the leading eCommerce platform in Africa and is available in the following countries as the time we published this post (17th March 2021), Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Tunisia, Algeria, Ghana and Senegal.
