What do i fill in under registration date for income tax resident?

I am a student trying to get a KRA pin for the first time and i have to select income tax resident however it is asking for a registration date. What do I do?

Requirement for registration date is normally for individuals with KRA pin that are either filing returns or registering for payment.

After going to KRA Itax page and clicking the registration link, the first thing you are supposed to see is Taxpayer Type followed by Mode of registration. Did you see that during your initial step of registration?
