Not getting helb notifications

Question

The phone number that I had used to register with the USSD code(*642#) is different from the one in my personal details  in my helb student portal.So far I have not received any confirmation messages from helb since I had paid ksh 1 to the paybill number 200800 for phone verification .So I don't know the difference in the numbers is the reason why am not getting notifications or its just okay .

Phone number is supposed to be the same. The reason why helb is deducting ksh. 1 from your mpesa is to verify that the phone number used to register belongs to you.
