To do a Bachelor of Medicine degree in Kenya under government sponsored, you must meet minimum KUCCPS cut off points of that year.
You must also meet the minimum requirements in the following subjects for both private and government sponsored students.
- Biology
- Chemistry
- either Maths or Physics
- either English or Kiswahili
In Kenyatta University you need B (plain) in the subjects mentioned above and mean Grade of C+ (for private students).
In MKU you need to have a mean grade of C+ and B plain in the subject listed above (private sponsored).
Therefore, you can do medicine without physics so long as you have met the minimum grade in Mathematics.
