Ugali is a staple food in Kenya. It is a dense dough-like dish made by mixing maize flour with water. Other popular foods include rice, beans, lentils, and potatoes. There is a variety of meat, including chicken, beef, and goat, which are also commonly eaten, as well as vegetables such as kale and sukuma wiki (collard greens).
Fish is also enjoyed, particularly along the coastal and lake region.
