Azimio and Opposition leader Raila Odinga has today launched Tumechoka.com, a citizens initiative website that seeks to collect signatures.
Raila had promised that Azimio will collect over 10 million signatures to impeach President William Ruto.
Azimio leaders who have signed the initiative say that they are taking the move to force the government to amend the Finance Bill 2023 and remove some of the newly introduced taxes.
How Tumechoka website works
The Tumechoka website can be accessed through Tumechoka.net or Tumechoka.com.
Once you open the homepage of the website, a form appears that has fields that you can fill in personal information like ID number, first name, last name, ward, constituency name, and signature.
After filling in the details, you are required to click a checkbox to consent to receiving communication from Azimio. Thereafter you can submit the form.
The website also has a section to sign a petition to recall a member of parliament from office.
