Opesa will also check whether you are listed on CRB to determine your loan limit and credit score for loan qualification. When you qualify for an Opesa loan, you will be required to pay an interest of 16.8% within 14 days. Failing to pay your loan within the agreed period will subject you to a fee of 2.4% per day against your loan. In the event that you fail to clear your loan within 20 days, your details will be listed by the CRB. However, Opesa will warn you severally before opting to forward their complaint to the Credit Reference Bureau.
How to Repay Opesa Loan
When it’s time to repay your Opesa loan, you can do this easily by going to your Mpesa Menu and selecting the ‘Lipa na Mpesa’ option. You will then have to select ‘PayBill’ and then enter 606280 as your business number. Enter your phone number as your account number and then the amount you want to repay. Enter your Mpesa pin and then press ‘Ok’ and you will receive a message confirming the transaction.
