These Apple flagship smartphones were released in September 2017 to continue its dominance in the high-end smartphone market. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus are adorned with features that present fair competition against Google’s Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL and Samsung’s Galaxy 8, Galaxy 8+.

iPhone 8 OS and Processors

Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus run on iOS 11, upgradable to iOS 11.1. They are powered by an Hexa-core (2x Monsoon + 4x Mistral) processor based on the Apple A11 Bionic chipset.

iPhone 8 Memory and Storage

The iPhone 8 comes with 2GB of RAM while the iPhone 8 Plus has 3GB of RAM. Both devices come in variants of 64GB or 256 GB of internal storage. Memory is not expandable as the phones lack a microSD slot.
