Kenya’s potential to compete in the global market greatly depends on the capability of her people to innovate and make use of relevant technology for growth and development. Kenya has placed innovation at the centre stage of its development strategy through the Science, Technology, and Innovation Act and Vision 2030 which outlines that Research and development spending should be 2% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
The event largely aims to contribute to the Government’s Research Agenda. All UoN Staff and Students are invited to the Nairobi Innovation Week.
